This workshop, in addition to the morning lecture, deals with principles of Integrated Psychiatry. The workshop focuses on how these principles can be translated into practice. How does a psychiatrist include integrated psychiatry? Which methods can be used? You will get the opportunity to discuss these topics with James Lake, chairman of the Caucus CAM within the APA.

In this workshop a general introduction to Integrative Medicine is given. Followed by the possibilities of integrative medicine for general practitioners care. Subsequently there’ll be a discussion between the general practitioners and everyone who wants to participate. A demonstration of effective mindfulness PLUS treatments within anthroposophical psychiatry

This workshop demonstrates three anthroposophical therapies: artistic therapy, eurhythmic therapy, and rhythmic massage. N-of-1 evaluation: an opportunity for evidence-based CAM in the clinic

Scientifically based evidence on complemtary and alternative medicine (CAM) is still insufficient. RCT`s are not always suitable. N-of-1 evaluations are in general more suitable. This workshop is centrered around applying these n-of-1 evaluations in a clinical setting and combining this with individually based outcome-assessment, participants are expected to participate actively.
